The new eight-story Hilton Jacksonville hotel positioned adjacent to the Mayo Clinic Campus, a premier destination medical center, is surrounded by lush, wooded areas, natural ponds, and rows of indigenous trees. Our design celebrates this natural beauty using wood battens, stone piers, and tower paneling that mimic the rhythm of the flourishing landscape. While the glass exterior subtly reflects the stunning views, including the adjacent pond.
To better serve guests, many of whom are Mayo Clinic patients, a rigorous level of accessible/universal design moments was incorporated into the design. These include zero curbs from parking to entry, smooth flooring transitions, and limited mobility obstacles for wheelchair users. The hotel offers refined hospitality experiences, complementing the world-class patient care Mayo Clinic provides. Unique program details feature a destination restaurant, a pre-function area with an outdoor terrace, and a relaxing pool oasis. The hotel is set to be completed in 2025.
