Set against the backdrop of Baja California’s rugged landscape, the El Dorado Golf & Beach Club’s amenity spaces reflect the region’s unique topography and cultural heritage. Our design draws inspiration from Mexican architectural traditions in a sublime fusion of modernity and coastal history.
The building’s flowing forms and vibrant colors mimic the surrounding coastline, dissolving the boundaries between the indoors and the natural world. The interiors are characterized by playful uses of traditional Mexican materials – twisted tiles and inventive patterns enhance the restaurant, spa, and locker rooms. Clerestory windows in the restaurant allow natural light to fill the space, while small glass openings in the spa frame ocean views, bringing the outside in. The locker rooms feature tiny glass portals that scatter light, creating a mesmerizing effect. Fabrics in bold colors complement the earth tones of the walls and floors, embodying the lively spirit of Mexican design.
