The Sheila and Eric Samson Pavilion Health Education Campus is a partnership project between the Cleveland Clinic and Case Western Reserve University. This new facility allows medical, nursing, dental, and physician assistant students to learn, study, and dine together. Students of all disciplines foster the communication and collaboration that is required in the fast-paced field of healthcare. This state-of-the-future campus features architectural, curricular, and technological innovations that are destined to elevate healthcare by transforming how students learn and collaborate.
The facility features a mixture of lecture halls, classrooms, skills labs, administrative and office workstations, meeting rooms, conference rooms, and staff spaces organized around communal spaces. DLR Group partnered with Foster + Partners to provide architect of record, structural engineer of records, and interior services for this LEED Gold project.
