(PHOENIX, February 5, 2025) – DLR Group recently welcomed Senior Associate Ned McKnight as Healthcare Leader. Based in the Phoenix studio, McKnight will actively drive the firm’s strategic growth and client relationships within the Southwest region’s healthcare sector.
As a Healthcare Leader, McKnight is dedicated to leveraging his expertise in healthcare practices to drive impactful changes within an integrated design firm. With over 20 years of architectural experience, specializing in healthcare design and construction, he brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to every project. McKnights’s deep understanding of the Southwest region’s healthcare landscape positions him to lead dynamic teams and strategically expand the firm’s healthcare practice in the area.

As a LEED Accredited Professional since 2004, he blends his passion for healthcare design with sustainability at every stage of a project. This combination of experience and skills positions Ned and the teams he leads to design high performance buildings that are in sync with their environments. Ned’s notable previous healthcare projects in the Southwest Region include the Mayo Clinic Phoenix – AZ Bold Forward East Expansion, Banner Health University Medical Center Tucson New Patient Tower and Renovations, as well as the Banner Health Estrella Medical Center.

In addition to his role, McKnight is passionate about smart energy usage, high performing buildings – especially in a desert setting – and tuning the building to be more in sync with surrounding environments.
