(ORLANDO, Fla., August 20, 2024) – DLR Group announces the addition of Principal and K-12 Education Leader Mo Arthur, AIA, LEED AP. Arthur works with school districts to ensure their teaching and learning standards are being met through design. He serves as a trusted partner between district leaders and the design teams working to deliver future-ready learning environments.
Arthur’s design career spans nearly 30 years. Most recently, Arthur was design manager for Orange County Public Schools Program Management Team where he oversaw more than 100 unique K-12 Education projects annually for the eighth largest school district in the country. Arthur appreciates the significance and the responsibility that comes with education design and the impact it has on the communities he serves.
Arthur sees mentorship as an important part of the industry. His career trajectory was greatly influenced by a mentor as a young architect, and he seeks to pay it forward now. He’s been involved in the ACE Mentor Program of Central Florida for over 15 years, contributing several ways, including guest speaker, mentor, and board member. He partners with other industry volunteers to mentor high school students and show them how they can find their path in Architecture/Engineering/Construction related careers.
