DLR Group Relocates to Downtown Riverside

(RIVERSIDE, Calif., Feb. 5, 2025) – DLR Group has relocated to a new office in the heart of Downtown Riverside. Located at 3801 University Avenue, the office provides flexible work areas and amenity spaces for a growing team that specializes in the design of K-12 education, higher education, and justice and civic projects. The move reflects the firm’s continued growth in California and a commitment to delivering design excellence and deepening relationships with clients.

DLR Group is one of the largest educational designers in the nation. The new office location in the cultural core of Downtown Riverside supports growth and talent acquisition efforts in the K-12 education and higher education sectors and bolsters continued collaboration with local clients. DLR Group’s ongoing partnership with Riverside Community College District includes various master plans aimed at promoting environmental stewardship and operational efficiency, and the planning and execution of new facilities and upgrades funded by a recently passed bond initiative, Measure CC.

With over 50 projects in the city of Riverside, DLR Group has been part of the community for nearly three decades, since Managing Principal and California Region Leader Pamela Touschner, FAIA, established the first Riverside office in 1997.

DLR Group’s recent projects in Riverside include the modernization of Alcott Elementary School, a significant transformation for the community and a historic part of Riverside; La Sierra Museum and Visitor Center, which is targeted to align with the firm’s 2030 commitment to sustainability with a high-performance building envelope and energy reducing strategies; and the award-winning Riverside Community College District Sustainability and Climate Action Plan, an implementable roadmap toward sustainability goals that ensures that the district’s growth aligns with establishes Riverside Community College District as a leader in addressing climate change.
