DLR Group Recognizes 2024 Hospitality Milestones
(MINNEAPOLIS, January 20, 2025) – Over the past year, DLR Group celebrated a record number of milestones with 10 hotel project completions, 18 new projects in various stages of design and construction, and 12 people and project awards paving the way for the next chapter of hospitality.

DLR Group celebrated the completion of 10 hospitality projects in 2024 at various properties across the U.S. including AC Hotel Clayton in Missouri; Chamonix Casino & Hotel in Cripple Creek, Colorado; Chevy Chase Club in Maryland; Embassy Suites Downtown Asheville, North Carolina; Hilton Cabana Miami Beach, Florida; Hotel Zamora in St. Pete Beach, Florida; InterContinental Boston; Q Casino & Resort in Dubuque, Iowa; The Benjamin Royal Sonesta Hotel New York; and The Crawford Hotel at Denver Union Station.

Construction is underway on five hospitality properties. The properties that celebrated a groundbreaking in 2024 include the Grand Hyatt Seaside in California, which hosted a dedication for the ground-up property in fall 2024; Hyatt Place Sonoma, California; AC Hotel Auburn, Alabama; Grand Island Casino Resort at Fonner Park in Nebraska, which is expected to open by spring 2025; and the Key Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, in Dubuque, Iowa, which is expected to open by fall 2025.
Additionally, several luxury and lifestyle hospitality projects are currently in various stages of design and construction with many properties completing work in 2025. Properties opening and finishing renovations this year include The Vanguard Hotel, Autograph Collection in Ann Arbor, Michigan; Cascade Hotel, A Tribute Portfolio by Marriott in Kansas City, Missouri; Hilton Jacksonville Mayo Clinic in Florida; The Gunter Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk; Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina; Sheraton Boston Hotel; Trailborn Surf & Sound in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina; Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead; Kimpton Monaco Seattle; Hyatt Regency Denver; Dual Brand Embassy Suites & Tempo Austin; Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach in Dana Point, California; and The Former House, a Tribute Portfolio by Marriott in Eufaula, Alabama.
