Join our team at the upcoming Queer Harlem Renaissance Augmented Reality Walking Tour in New York City. In honor of the exhibition Wonder City of the World: New York City Travel Posters, Poster House is hosting a walking tour celebrating the history of the Queer Harlem Renaissance.

Associate and Designer Abriannah Aiken

Associate and Designer Abriannah Aiken will co-host the tour, alongside her co-author of Disappearing Queer Spaces, Brian Turner. Utilizing augmented reality through the Queer Harlem app, funded by DLR Group, the walking tour will celebrate and inform about the artists and writers who dominated the Queer Harlem Renaissance as well as the integral community spaces that no longer exist. Participants will have the opportunity to witness some of these spaces as they once were, starting with the Savoy Ballroom.

The ticket cost is $25 and all proceeds from this program will be donated to the Ali Forney Center.
