DLR Group to Present at ITGA 2024 Conference

Join our team at the upcoming International Town & Gown Association, commonly referred to as ITGA, Conference in College Park, Maryland. Senior Associate and Planning Leader Christina Kruise will present a session titled “Revitalizing Main Street: Creating Cultural Space for Town/Gown Connections.”

Christina’s session will explore lessons learned in creating successful downtowns that foster town and gown connections. While working, shopping, and dining meet important needs, arts and entertainment are the lifeblood of vibrant communities. The session will cover funding strategies and programs that support cultural organizations and event spaces. These initiatives aim to draw people downtown, build community ties, feature diverse voices, and catalyze new development.

The session will be held on the second day of the conference, Thursday, June 6 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
