Principal and Higher Education Leader Jackie Eckhardt will showcase strategies for actionable physical planning, wellness initiatives, and partnerships that support Indigenous needs and perspectives. Case studies presented will include the University of Alaska Southeast’s coastal ocean campuses, the University of Alaska Fairbanks’ Northwest and Interior Alaska campuses, Northern Arizona University, Arizona State University, and University of Minnesota Morris. Examples will cover the evolution of campus planning and programming, local Indigenous participation and support, and attention paid to health and belonging for students and the community.
