
2025 IDEAS² Award for Excellence in Architecture
Pima Community College – Advanced Manufacturing Center recently received the prestigious 2025 Innovative Design in Engineering and Architecture with Structural Steel, commonly referred to as IDEAS², Award for Excellence in Architecture.
Sponsored by the American Institute of Steel Construction, the IDEAS² Awards program celebrates projects that showcase the creative potential of structural steel in building design. This honor is awarded to projects that inspire and serve their communities through innovative and breathtaking structural solutions.
Only five projects nationwide received an IDEAS² Award this year; those winners will be featured in the May 2025 issue of Modern Steel Construction magazine. The award winners will be announced at NASCC: The Steel Conference, taking place April 2 – 4, 2025, at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Ky.
