2023 AIA Ohio Design Awards Program
Two projects were recognized in the 2023 AIA Ohio Design Awards Program: an Honorable Mention Award for Additions, Renovations, Restorations for Slippery Rock University – Miller Auditorium, and an Honor Award for Newly Completed Buildings for the Harry M. Cornell Arts & Entertainment Complex, created in partnership with Corner Greer Architects.
AIA is an organization that supports practices in the built environment and promotes positive change through the power of design. The awards are presented at the AIA Ohio Awards Celebration, taking place during the AIA Ohio Architectural Design Community Conference in Columbus, Ohio.
2023 AIA Ohio Design Awards Program
The AIA Ohio Design Awards Program seeks to focus attention on quality design, high performance design and AIA’s Framework for Design Excellence. The intent is to promote AIA’s initiatives and to encourage Ohio architects to think more holistically about their design. The jury will evaluate all projects based on the aesthetic, functional, contextual, and social characteristics of the design.
